The U.K. Prime Minister’s name is being spoken in the same breath as Gandhi’s by Indians who have been struck by his “simplicity” during his tour of the subcontinent.

Some commentators, presumably unaware of Mr Cameron’s expense claims for wisteria pruning and his large mortgage, have even suggested “extravagant and ostentatious” local politicians should “learn from” him.
